Leather in fashion is usually finished with fossil fuel-derived “forever chemicals,” adding massive amounts of carbon to the atmosphere. Evolved By Nature, a sustainable biotech company, found a way to finish leather using natural silk instead. Unseasonal Bouquets were made with local flowers that should be out of season, but are still blooming due to warming temperatures. Instead of plastic sleeves, we wrapped them in samples of Evolved By Nature’s CO2 reductive leather and sent them to fashion brands. Literally putting the power to make a difference in their hands.
